Flashback 1968: Three Elvis movies are released. "Stay Away, Joe," "Speedway" and "Live A Little, Love A Little" all hit the big screen keeping Elvis fans all over the world satisfied. In his third movie, which stars Michele Carey, Don Porter, Rudy Vallee and Dick Sargent, Elvis plays a photographer. Also starring in this movie, is Elvis' very own two-hundred-pound Great Dane, named Brutus.

Mac Davis and Billy Strange write a number especially for the movie. Enter a quiet nice little song titled, "A Little Less Conversation."

In the fall of 1968 Elvis releases, "Almost in Love" as a single. Peaking at #95 it lasts two weeks on the Billboard pop singles chart. On the flip side, "A Little Less Conversation" peaks at #69 and lasts four weeks

A Little Less Conversation was also planned for the 1968 TV special, but ended up on the cutting room floor. The song did make it to the 1998 CD, 68 Special compilation however.

Fast-forward 2002: Nike decides to use the alternate version of "A Little Less Conversation" in their World Cup Soccer promotions. They call on JXL, to produce a remix, adding a more updated feel to the song.

In the meantime, a remake of the Las Vegas themed movie, "Oceans 11" is also being made starring some of the biggest names in the business. George Clooney, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts take Vegas and the movie industry by storm. With Vegas as the main theme of the movie, Elvis music is a given. The chosen song, "A Little Less Conversation," as the quiet little song of the 60s continues it's ride, bringing Elvis back to the top of the music world.

By June of 2002 the song was such a huge hit it's released by RCA/BMG as a single.

Within weeks "A Little Less Conversation" tops music charts in both the UK and the USA. Not only does it hit #1, but it also breaks the long-standing tie between the Beatles and Elvis for the most number one records on the pop singles chart.

Ready for release, the new CD, ELV1S 30 #1 HITs undergoes a change. The surprising popularity of a "Little Less Conversation" prompted RCA/BMG to add a second CD as a last minute bonus track.
