Elvis: That's the Way it is, was originally released in August of 1970. The documentary showed us the real Elvis, both on and off-stage. It soon became a favorite of fans all over the world.

The film shows us his triumphant return to the stage, leaving his movie era behind him and beginning a fresh new look, soon to become known as the jumpsuit era.

Now 30 years later, our favorite video has been re-mastered, digitally enhanced and re-released, even better than before. All the boring fan hoopla la's been cut and replaced with added back-stage fun and never-before-seen footage, previously lost in studio vaults.

This is Elvis, complete with all his raw, raunchy, humor and talent, unplugged, uncut and the way we loved him best. This is Elvis, the way he really was.

Here's what the fans are saying about "That's the Way it is: Special Edition.

I too was stuck to the TV for the encore performance. Again, Elvis shows just what amazing talent he possesses.

I thought that the show "Elvis: That's the Way it is" was great. Elvis was the greatest!!! In singing and acting And will always be to me.

Those lips, those eyes, that body, that beautiful voice! All I can say is OMG! This is the way the film should have been when it was first made. I'm was surprised at the end of it when we got the extra songs, especially "Sweet Caroline", But I would have rather the songs (that were played) after it was over, been put in somewhere else in the movie. just my opinion) This is my favorite movie to watch Elvis in. He does seem a little nervous, but I guess I would to. The new release is Brilliant! And the CD is just as great! I listen to it in my car all of the time. Elvis was and is a truly great performer. And I know his light will forever shine!

That's the way it is was so refreshing to me! Wonderful to see new things after all the years that has passed! I loved it!
Sincerely

I have trouble forming an opinion about the video because I was transported in time. Anytime I watch Elvis in a concert video, I am so involved in watching him that it's almost as if he is still performing. Proof once again that he truly earned the title Artist of the Century. I did enjoy the additional pieces added to the tail of the video. That was a nice treat. Anyway, I'll say it again... Elvis never has left the building!
